  3. Paulann,

I am packing to leave for a mini vacation to Saratoga Wyoming to the hotspings and spa. It is one of my most favorite places in the world in the winter. My family will be joining me. My new year commitment to myself is to create more balance in my life. Hence, the mini vacation.

I am complimented concerning the nominationa. Hopefully I will get to completing the requirements sometime next week.

    Warmly, Brenda

PS: Are you a colorado local? Some of your pictures look familar.

    • Brenda,

Your mini vacation sounds wonderful, and I can really identify with your commitment to more balance. I’ve been having my own internal conversation about that the last month. Take your time completing the Versatile Blogger process so that is enjoyable, and not a chore.

I am actually in Oklahoma, but take some respite time every summer at a cabin on the Spanish Twin Peaks near LaVeta. I have hundreds of pictures, and the mountains and the trails always invite to take more.

Traveling mercies as you follow the path to balance,

      Paulann

    • I know creating and maintaining a blog is an investment of time and energy that is more pressing at times than we expect. I believe your thoughts will give all your readers an opportunity for accountability and possibility in their own lives. I’m still thinking about the four people I would pick. Your purpose for blogging reminds me of the important truth that “more is not necessarily better”. I look forward to reading more from fewerforgreater in the future.

  4. Now it’s official! You’ve been to my place and I’ve been to yours!
I certainly picked the perfect day to visit. I knew nothing about you before and now I know where to help you look when you lose your glasses! Lovely photo by the way. You can tell a lot by the joy on a person’s face. You have that kind of face.
You can tell a lot by the wrinkles, too. I have THAT kind of face. 😉
I will most certainly return and look forward to getting to know you better!

    • Thanks for stopping by, Debbie! And thank you for your comment about joy in a person’s face. I certainly hope to scatter some joy around in this world. Nice to know that it’s recognizable. I look forward to many more moments of sharing thoughts, feelings, and mercy and grace!
